STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
** Updated Februrary 13th 2025
- The client explicitly waives its own standard terms and conditions, even if these were drawn up after these standard terms and conditions of sale. In order to be valid, any derogation must be expressly agreed to in advance in writing.
- Our invoices are payable within 21 working days, unless another payment timeframe is indicated on either the invoice or the order. In the event of non-payment by the due date, Furniture A Outlet, LLC reserves the right to request a fixed interest payment amounting to 20% of the sum remaining due. Furniture A Outlet, LLC will be authorized to suspend any provision of services without prior warning in the event of late payment.
- If a payment is still outstanding more than sixty (60) days after the due payment date, Furniture A Outlet LLC reserves the right to call on the services of a debt recovery company. All legal expenses will be payable by the client.
- Certain countries apply withholding at source on the amount of invoices, in accordance with their internal legislation. Any withholding at source will be paid by the client to the tax authorities. Under no circumstances can Furniture A Outlet, LLC become involved in costs related to a country's legislation. The amount of the invoice will therefore be due to Furniture A Outlet, LLC in its entirety and does not include any costs relating to the legislation of the country in which the client is located.
- Furniture A Outlet, LLC undertakes to do its best to supply performant services in due time in accordance with the agreed timeframes. However, none of its obligations can be considered as being an obligation to achieve results. Furniture A Outlet, LLC cannot under any circumstances, be required by the client to appear as a third party in the context of any claim for damages filed against the client by an end consumer.
- In order for it to be admissible, Furniture A Outlet, LLC must be notified of any claim by means of a letter sent by recorded delivery to its registered office within 8 days of the delivery of the goods or the provision of the services.
- All our contractual relations will be governed exclusively by United States law.
Important Information:
- Payment Methods: We currently accept Cash, Zelle, Checks, and Credit/Debit Card. There is an additional 3% fee for any credit and debit card purchases. Zelle: 6303648181 under "Furniture A Outlet" - Make checks payable to "Furniture A Outlet".
- To confirm an order: We need written confirmation or a minimum 30% deposit to confirm all orders, no exceptions. Orders confirmed after 4:30PM CST will be processed next business day.
- Same-day pick-up: Orders must be confirmed before 12:00PM to be picked-up same day. For flat box orders, we need a minimum 2-hours to process order after confirmation. For assembled orders, there is a minimum 4-hour processing time after order confirmation. we will not process large quantity orders. There is a maximum 5 assembled cabinets for same-day pick-up. Same-day pick-up payment terms: Immediate Payment. Pick-Up must be before 6:00PM.
- Curbside Delivery: Items will be delivered in a garage, parking lot, or driveway, but will not be loaded into the project work area for liability and insurance reasons. The customer is responsible for loading items into their designated project area. At time of delivery, please carefully inspect that all items have been delivered and are in acceptable conditions.
- Free Local Delivery: We offer free delivery for the immediate cities of Stone Park, Melrose Park, Bellwood, Franklin Park, Hillside, and Northlake. Free local delivery is not automatically applied, if the delivery address associated is within our free delivery areas, please advise your sales representative.
- Delivery Charge: There is a flat-rate delivery fee of $150. We hold the right to adjust this fee based on the delivery zip code. Deliveries to Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana begin at a $250 delivery fee and may be adjusted.
- Quotation & Invoice Accuracy: The Customer is responsible for both quotation and invoice accuracy. We will not be responsible for any missing items required to complete your project. Once a quotation is confirmed, the paired invoice supersedes all prior written and oral communication. Any additional materials or services will be billed to the customer.
- Inspections at Time of Delivery or Pick-Up / Damaged or Missing Items: The customer is responsible for inspecting that all cabinets are present and in acceptable condition at time of delivery and/or pick-up. We will not be made responsible for any missing items after pick-up or delivery. Claims for a damaged item(s) must be made at time of pick-up and/or delivery. Once the items are in possession of the customer or a liaison, we will not accept claims for damaged or missing items. Damages to flat-box cabinets (unassembled and sealed in original packaging) will be accepted for replacement within 14 days of pick-up or delivery. We are not responsible or liable for damages, modifications, or customizations done by a 3rd party sought out independently by the client.
- Blueprints/Installation Accuracy: Should Furniture A Outlet, LLC provide you will a design or blueprint for your project, you MUST follow the design and/or blueprint correctly. We will not be exchange, refund, or accept returns if you choose not to follow the plans correctly. Once a customer confirms a quotation, they confirm that the design and measurements were verified as accurate.
Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds:
- We do not accept returns, exchanges, or issues refunds for all assembled cabinets.
- We will not replace or exchange items if they are installed, altered, modified, customized, or assembled outside of FAO Cabinetry (Furniture A Outlet LLC).
- For cabinets returned in their original and resalable condition within 14 days of delivery/pick-up date there is a 25% restocking fee applied to each individual item's invoiced sale price. Once again, we do not accept cabinets if they have been assembled or modified.
Processing Times
Our lead-time averages roughly 2 to 5 business days depending on order quantity and cabinet style. There is an additional 10-business day processing time for the following cabinets: Shaker; Greystone, Nova Light Grey, Ice White, Woodland Brown, Xterra Blue, Petit; Brown, Sand, Blue, White, Townplace Crema, Townsquare Grey, Midtown Grey, Uptown White, Gramercy White, Signature Pearl, and Pepper Shaker. We don't hold local stock for these cabinets, and they must be ordered by our supplier in New Jersey.
